Tutorial for Project 3

For this project I will be making an infographic on memory and design and how to design to make something more memorable. The things I'm including in the infographic are listed below:

There are two types of memory; short term and long term.
In order for something to make it to long term memory it has to either stand out, be repeated over and over, or make some sort of connection to something that the viewer already knows.
Things that a designer can use to design with memory in mind:
- Bright and warm colors
- Using only 2 colors helps as well
- Categorizing information helps simplify it for memorization;
    7 numbers, 6 letters, 5 words.. using groups of 4 for anything is best, if possible.
- When working with words, using literary symbols can help the viewer make connection to things they already know, which will help them memorize things longer:       Using mnemonic devices, and metaphors help for this
- Memory is selective so using something with a negative association won’t be as memorable as something positive

- Patterns

The style is kind of based off of this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2LLXnUdUIc&list=PLFgsZpCWpB2UViapQFJ_0Wlskg2wL-GOf&index=21&t=0s
 I want to keep the animations simple and clear and use a lot of color.
